Leo Looks at Coffee

A project about too much choice.

FINAL OUTCOME.

A How-To Public Service Announcement Style guide to overcoming the emotional reflexes that develop when growing up in an a choice-burdened consumer culture.

Script written and performed by me.

Images taken from Google. Videos filmed by me. Compiled and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro 5.5, with the additional use of Photoshop and illustrator.

Research Outcome.

After a few days milling about in coffee shops and having a good think, we (myself, Simon Jeal, Amanda Mullard and Sarah Piddington) we realised just how astounding the amount of choice you have in London when it comes to buying a coffee is.

After reading a few books and watching Barry Schwartz’s The Paradox of Choice lecture on Ted Talks, we cobbled this together.

Script written and performed by me.

Massive bulk of the billions of video clips found and acquired by Sarah and Amanda.

Said billions of clips complied tirelessly by Simon on Premiere Pro.

Video clips primarily from YouTube.

Pretending I know how to use Premiere Pro. :D

Potentially going to film the contents for the video. Possible places to do the filming…

2,300 WORD LONG SCRIPT.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

THIS SHIT IS 12 MINUTES LONG.

Video Concepts.
